Impulse
Impulse control of a light or group of lights is a concept invented by Mode lighting.
They created a product that allows full dimming operation of a lighting circuit using momentary switches.
The concept has been continued and is now avalible within their Evolution lighting Control system where a single switch can be used to provide impulse control of a lighting circuit or a group of circuits inclusing power channels or DMX outputs.
Impulse presses:
- Press turns circuit ON
- Held lowers circuit dimming level
- Held raises circuit dimming level
- Press turns circuit off
